auto maps gone?

Hey can anyone give me a few things to check as to why automaps may not load anymore?

I have edited a town layout using ds1edit and also added a new level via red portal - just not sure whether/ how that is related to all automaps not coming up.

Well just in case anyone else has same problem it was actually because I edited my d2common.dll and that stopped the Extlvl.dll working which caused issues with automaps loading!
