Adding a new level to Talonrage's Complete Plugin Pack

Hi,

I am trying to add a maze level for personal enjoyment to the Talonrage complete plugin pack (I gave up on an outdoor level). I changed levels.txt using the directions 'adding a new level with AFJ666s extended plug-in':

While you are using the talonrage plugin, this is a map editing question better addressed in the correct forum. You do want the experts to see your question, no?

Good, you did those changes. What happened after that? Note that there is no way for us to help you if you don't describe your problems in details.

Hi Onyx,

RL caught up to me yesterday, so I was off of the PC (a nice change of pace). The addition of a level worked. I would like to add a brand new entrance to a random level (not an existing level)...I have used Paul's powerful map editor...I just wish there was a step-by-step doc (button by button--click f1, then select x, etc.) to add basic stuff like trees or more advanced stuff like warps to other maps....

Baby steps, I suppose. One must crawl before they can walk...

BTW, LOVE the Diablo 1 plugin animations...

P.S. Is there a way I can support this board for its help to me?

P.P.S. The Talonrage plugin pack has 2 50 level dungeons in it, bringing the count to over 235 (out of 255). If I increased the # of rooms (lvlmaze.txt) and deleted most of the levels...I could free up room. NOT an easy question---how would I do this without losing most of the content (and not screwing up)...
