PC Bin's ok for Mac?

Hi

just planning a new mini mod
my question, are BINs generated on a pc working for a mac?

i assume that only txt modding is possible for a mac

Bins made on a PC are good on a Mac; they can be packed in an mpq on the PC and played in the Mac environment. The bins you generate on a Mac itself must be converted, which is why Souricette talks about endianness in his tool documentation.

Now that new Macs will use Intel chips, you may find the standard -direct -txt switches will work the way they do for us...if the game will run on the new system at all and you figure out how to use command line switches there.

this means a txt only based mod, generated on pc, will be fully compatible with mac

thanks a lot

without dll editing it will make many things harder, but the reason for the new mini mod
