i hope you don't nerf the barb too much, if at all. that's my favourite character, other than the assassin. which i also hope you don't nerf too much, or at all. But hey, it's your mod, do what you want :)

Hopefully Char will be keeping his new barb skill in. I like it very much! I just love elemental type mods :). One request though, Char. Please make the installation easy, such as copy mpq and dll's into folder, no program :-|.

drackin, you like asassin? thats really great because i basically have no idea about asassins at all. i never really played one.

about the barb: would you call it nerfed if a highlevel barb deals sth like .... 400 average damage with concentration and a good onehand weapon? ;) ... all characters will be rebalanced, that includes barb, and in general damages will be lower, as well as defense, attack rating, hitpoints, ...

Yea, other than barbarians, assassins are my favourite character, And what do you consider high level in your mod? are you raising the max level? (if you posted this info in the forum, or on the site, I probably forgot about it)

Hmm, sounds interesting. I did see it on the website of how it works. It's going to be hard to balance the monsters so Diablo on Normal doesn't take 400 hits to kill, which is about what it will take with a 400 dmg weapon. :) You might want to give him the original Diablo's health. 1666, I believe.

Diablo I I mean. No dmg could go as high as 400 there either. I think.

David, lost, but not forgotten on this forum.

(pulls out his Nightwish t-shirt) yeah :). saw them live on Wacken Open Air 1999 and 2000 i think it was. i guess you do, too?

yeah, i think i can put you in for the betatest, too.

Carnac: of course you're in, your comp needs to crash some more ;).

Drackin: max level will be... sth around 100, not exactly decided yet.

DavidB111: monster stats have already been modified to fit the new character damages.

Well, to see if the characters are still playable, i'll have to wait util you realease the test, but as long as it doesn't take an hour to kill a monster, I think it will be fine.

i am trying to make all characters playable while not making any of them too overpowered (like 1.09 multishot bowazon was) :). its not an easy task, thats why i need you.

Can I test Char? Your mod looks pretty awesome.

OT, but what kind of music does Nightwish do? And, also, are you named after Char Asnable from Mobile Suit Gundam?

Nightwish is melodic metal / gothic metal.

actually, my name is based on nothing particular, although a guy in the irc told me that there are several sources where Char could come from. its also the homeworld of the Zerg in the Starcraft universe.

hmmm, for all of you: it would be quite cool if you told me which characters you prefer, because i would like to have at least one tester for each character class / -build. it will not help if you all test the barb with elemental weapons, but noone plays a trap-assasin or a daggermancer ;).
