Hello, I'm having a problem with the program. I'll tell you all steps I did with it.
1. I downloaded from here.
These are all the files I extracted from the zip, except ds1edit_loader.ini. I grabbed it from another program since the zip didn't have it by default.

2. I ran the program using ds1edit_loader.exe
3. Options -> Configure Editor...

3. Options -> Configure Loader...

4. Options -> Register Extension
5. File -> Add...

6. File -> Run, and a dialog box popped up...

What the heck did I do wrong? I didn't even rename the ds1 file. I also checked maplist.txt and the entries are already there, wtf
Problem with DS1Edit Loader v2.1

I don't know the tool but i noticed that you did install diablo to C:\Program Files (x86)\ which is not recommended (C:\Games\ or something like that would be better). If the game is installed there maybe you need to start ds1edit with admin rights. Did you try that? (rightclick -> run as admin)
Re: Problem with DS1Edit Loader v2.1
So, you are using D2SE right?
First off all, its no problem to use the "C:\Program Files (x86)\" directory, i use it myself too.
In "Configure Editor" set the patch_d2 path to your "MODS" folder and put, if needed, an empty "Patch_D2.mpq" into it (if u already got an edited .mpq, u can use it of course).
Besides of that, your problem should be located in "configure loader". Are you linking the loader to itself? There is a "Maploader" and a "Mapeditor" you need.
Make a new folder and call it something like "Mapeditor". Download this https://d2mods.info/filecenter/dload.ph ... ile_id=127 and extract everything into the "Mapeditor" folder.
Start DS1Edit Loader and go to Options -> Configure Loader and set the path to the "Mapeditor" file called "win_ds1edit.exe". Close it and you should be good to go.

EDIT: It works now! by disabling full screen mode in configure editor.
Thank you very much!
