animated hp and mp orbs

animated hp and mp orbs

hi all, been searching high and low for animated hp and mp orbs that i can use...

right now i imported d3's orbs, it looks cool in windowed mode, but becomes pixilated when in fullscreen

i tried playing browser-based rpg to look their ui's and man... their animated orbs looks way cooler...
although a lot more simple...

it's either i find some animated source that doesn't become pixilated

or perhaps there is a way to automatically remove pixilated colors?

any ideas guys? :)

sounds like you need to do some color quantization so that the gradients used in the animations only use colors from the D2 palette.

is this the same palette that can be downloaded at the file center sir? or do i need a different one.

i am currently downloading ximagic quantizer for photoshop... i hope this works :-|

yip, they are the same, but IIRC the UI is drawn with the actX palettes, so you need to use the colors common to all five of those (else its the units palette, can't really remember off hand if its only the item backing that uses the act palettes...).

i am afraid ximagic quantizizer doesnt work on my machine :mrgreen:

i'll search for some other tool, hehe
