Harder monsters ?

Hi ho folks.. It's been a while..

I have a sugestion for 1.10.. Make some areas that are not so common visited... like some caves in act 1.. make them 4-6 levels deep and put bad ass monsters in them..

After playing for a while and when you reach lvl 150+ - even with just decent stuff a sorceress can beat the crap out of cow with no problem, so some monsters with almost inpossible stats would be nice..

How that would be nice. However, it might turn into zy-el style mass leaching where 2-3 uber chars kill everything and the rest of the ppl just sit by the portal and leach... whether thats a good or a bad thing is up to u.

is the physical immunity in hell going to be changed at all? just wondering, because i kind of like lifesteal..

Well, I just passed on some suggestions to Afterlife, and it could very well be possible that Valhalla will be a lot more of a challenge. Some of the suggestions include:
- Players will only be able to go to level 100
- Minimizing modificating the monsters (maximum of 25% increase of stats)
- Making gems way more powerful but also way more rare

These are only suggestions and are still going to be discussed, so don't see them as definite features, yet. I do believe, however, it will make Valhalla a lot more challenging, while not being impossibly difficult.

2 things:
- A level 250 Barb needed around 1000 Dexterity to have max Block with Heimdall's Blockade, this because the Barb had a way higher level than the level of the shield.
- The Player/Monster relationship was way too screwy. Monsters didn't give any experience at all and were no match for high level players, because of the level difference.

To put it shortly, Diablo II wasn't designed to let characters have levels higher than approx. 125. So, I'd like to keep it well rounded and stick it to 100.
This will also greatly add to the challenge since you want have as many skill and stat points to distribute.

I personally like the lvl 250, but if u must change it, can u make it 125?
