[modified] Magic Damage

Magic Damage have gone past a change that will allow it to add a damage over time component. Not every magic damage dealt have the effect below. It's reserved for special skills and is also available on special items.

An example is a new pearl sold by Meshif in chapter 2 called Meshif's Shadow Pearl as you can see here


Shadowburn
This cause the victim to burn in pain. It deals 10% of your skills magic damage dealt for 20 seconds.

If a monster die from shadowburn you will reward experience points like normal.

Convert Physical Damage into Magic Damage
This isn't exactly anything new. There is skills in vanilla diablo that allows you to convert physical damage into magic damage (berserk skill as example). The difference here is that this is now possible with items to convert physical damage done to magic damage. In the example screenshot in Meshif's Shadow Pearl you see this effect in-game.

This removes +x% physical damage and converts it into +x% magic damage.
