State changes

In the upcomming patch for preview version there have been major changes to state code.


Saved States

States can now be saved between games (this is something's the new death penalty is using). The current duration on the state is saved aswell.


Extended space for states

The state code have been updated to allow practically infinite number of states.


Graphical changes

The current state tracking system that vanilla diablo uses will be replaced in future patch. Once a target have enough states on it. It will be very hard to track what state is active.

In future you will see active states on yourself on upper part of screen as small graphical icons that you can hover over for additional informations.

You will be able to see states or similar effects on a monster in future aswell. This will help you to track active buffs/debuffs that are active on a target.
