NPC Crafting: Brewery

Post by kingpin » Mon Nov 26, 2007 3:07 pm

We are introducing a new npc crafting system for Dark Alliance. There will be different npc's around in the world that can craft.

The first npc crafting to be revealed is:

BREWERY
Taran Longhorn in Blood Wood is a skillful crafter. Who is master of alchemy and can craft potions with his Brewery Skill.

Taran Longhorn lives in a friendly Blood Elf village.

He is more than willing to craft potions for you if you bring an essence and gold. He charge 200 gold for his service. You will need to carry atleast 200g on you to be able to use his service.

He is selling some essence himself. But, most essence you will need to find yourself from monsters.

He have got new menu option for brewery as you can se here

An example crafted potion that exist in Dark Alliance (note: in this example the gold charge is disabled)

One of the needed essence to craft a potion
Essence of Pure heart

Essence inserted into Brewery Window
Inserted Essence

The final crafted Elixir
Elixir of Pure Fire

Taran Longhorn's crafted elixirs

You can only have one active elixir at same time. If you drink same potion before duration have ended. It will only refresh the time. it will not stack the effects.

If you die or logout the elixir effect is gone.

Then you have drink the elixir you will get an active symbol over your head. In future there will be an improved gui for elixirs. That will display an icon up to right that tell it's effect and that the elixir is active.
