Zyel 4.4c in 2024

Hi everyone.

Spent a couple hours getting a d2se zyel install working on my win 10. Figured I'd share my process here so others can have an easier time with it;

The key thing is you cannot use the current battle.net installer since they updated it to 1.14b which breaks d2se. Scouting around for an older version I found this link that still works as of the time of posting.

Grab D2SE from moddb;

Once you have both of these installed you will need to put D2SE into Windows 7 compatibility mode.

Install and die horribly run.

Still having a few minor bugs;
- Characters don't show on the mini-map
E; My ssd died and I reinstalled windows and now no longer have this issue
