FZero purchased the site that used to host my forum for my mod. Eventually the new owners want to remove all content that is non-FZero related. Therefore I need to find a new home.
What do you recommend?
I was told to talk to Seltsamuel about getting a forum through him. I have no issue going there; however, I want to check out my options as I dont want to move again. Does anyone have any other ideas?

If were talking free hosting i would claim that there is no guarantee you wont have to move again. The only free hosting i have had any experience with in the last few years is hugelaser and it has worked out well for us.
Personally i do prefer paid hosting as that's the only way to get exactly what you want, unless your forum is superbusy you should be good to go with a 5$/month shared hosting plan (maybe even a cheaper one)

I joined Mrfixitonline on June 23, 2008. Since that time, my mod accumulated 35,000 posts. Is that lots?
If you go the paid hosting route, any service providers you would recommend?

35k for a d2mod after 2008 = congraz but in general for a forum its not that much so you should be able to go with some basic hosting plan.
I have experience with http://www.cirtexhosting.com/ and their basic plan, used them up until 2009 and i still would recommend them. Atm im with http://www.namecheap.com/ using their professional shared hosting plan coz i have several sites on one account, switched to namecheap simply coz i had more domains registered there so figured its easier to have everything in 1 place.
You will need a domain to if you go with paid hosting but if you got with a .info domain its under a fiver per year (thats why i use them for all my hobby sites).

I dont have any resent experience with hosts other than the ones i mentioned but there are several third party sites where you can find reviews of hosting companies, dont have anything in my bookmarks on this comp but just google the "hostname review" and im sure you find lots of info
