a Flaunting Haunt Box (but you start with one)

Mephist Quest- What should he drop instead of the soulstone?
same soulstone
rare converter (i cant make this a set or unique one because it can be redone)
Flawless gem(perfect is too good because it can be redone)

Hellforge Quest- Currently a Perfect Gem, two flawless, and a normal, and a rune - keep in mind that 5 items drop - if only one is listed you may pick and choose

if you want to leave it as gems and runes, i think of their values like this:
normal gem = 1
flawless gem = 2
perfect gem = 4
rune = 5
they currently add up to 14, but you can have them add up to around 18

One converter of each type (hmmm, might be overpowered- still cool though)

I have played your mod a little bit, but only for about 10 minutes. I test every mod for about that long, and yours was pretty nice. I like the screenshots too ;)

I'd like too see a lot of new items and none of the existing ones, because the existing uniques/sets are just getting to boring. I'd like to find new stuff and have a little more fun and excitement when finding an item.

I'd also like to see many Cube Recipes definitely. They're great addons to any mod :mrgreen:

I haven't encountered any bugs in the deathfile mod, but like I said, I haven't played it very long.

Not sure what I'd rate it, but by the way the features look, I'd say...
around 7-7.5/10 - and if you add on, this mod could easily become a 10 on my scale :mrgreen:

I think Hell's Torment or Armaggedon Genesis would sound the best. I have some names I can pull out of my sleeve ;) Like Sanctuary's Corruption, _____'s Revenge (Some new boss or something) - My mod will be called "The Keeper of Souls" - so don't take the name or I'll have to kill you :twisted:

You should definitely have skill scrolls and books, new cube recipe stuff, and most important: a new storyline. I'm so sick of the NPC's saying the same stuff 'well met, noble paladin...' 'I am Akara, ruler of the sisterhood of the sightless eye or whatever...'
Definitely new monsters and monster difficulties.

Add new skills - that is a must. Add some variety.

Quest Rewards should be a lot different than what you posted. I was thinking good quest rewards would be like the items from Diablo Classic - I mean you do a quest, get a rock and Gris makes an item for you - that's ingenious. Quest Rewards should be more rewarding. I'm going to use the Ring of Truth, Empyrean Band and others in my mod, along with all new items, probably totalling to 2000 or so (sets and uniques).

Mephisto should drop a new quest item. I know what you could do - like in my mod, I have different bosses drop their organs, then I have another boss drop a unique sword, then ya transmute it like Khalim's Flail and whala, can't give you any more of my ideas tho because I want my mod to be kinda secret until it is fully finished. :mrgreen:

If there was a way to have the Hellforge Quest drop the Black Tower Key and actually be able to open the Black Tower that'd be sweet, otherwise, make some of the new gems or cube recipants drop from that quest.

Don't quite understand the order of yer gems and runes or whatever.

This is just my idea - for the barb quest, have Qual Kehk give you some Barb Merc unique or set items or something. Just an idea.

I'd have Anya give you a secret item, think of something innovative.

BTW, I'd love to help out with your mod, but my experience in modding is very limited, and I'm still learning a lot of stuff. Probably the most I can do right now is create you new items and give you ideas. Good luck with your mod.

once i get a level editor working, i will work on a few things.

1: a secret level (im not telling you which one or where it is!) will have Belial, Lord of Lies at the end.
2: a different secret level will have Azmodan, Lord of Sin at the end.

I plan on eventually replacing all current sets and uniques, but i just dont have the time to do it myself. I would greatly appreciate it if you wanted to help make new uniques, i have only added unique charms and jewels so far. about half the sets are done however.

oh, i started an amazon and each time the lvl req on the bow was 6.. that could get annoying :mrgreen:

8-O Holy Crap deathfile!!! me and u both have so many of the same ideas :) like belial and azmodan. Ive been thinking of adding them since I beat lod the first time im like...wheres belial? wheres azmodan? (for those who dont know what the crap we are talking about. check out the d1 manual :) ) anyway when i get a beta out on my mod..(prolly never..or not till i get the unqs and sets finished) anyway looks really nice. i'll check it out after I get a beta out (as I said that will be never :) )

Deathfile, i d/led ur mod last night. when I made a sorc I noticed you have all the masteries in the "Phychic" tree meaning any skills not in phychic tree will not gain the bonus. I used a char to test..I maxed charged bolt it did about 42 dmg.. I maxed light mastery and it still did 42.. something I just thought I'd fill u in on.. :mrgreen:

report that to riparious, i am using his skill pack. thats interesting though, it will be fixed soon.

Cool! its the same as what TFW did on their mod! The maps are new and lots of secret levels that they didnt bother to spoil it to players on the readme file. I like that mod so Im sure that I'll gonna like this one also. So keep it up and goodluck. I hope you release it soon

Since you're asking for a mod title so here's my suggestion. Why dont you name it as Deathfile MoD (Riparious Skills Enhanced) :twisted:
