-direct -txt

Can some one explain me why some mods can't be oppened w -direct -txt ? I love change some things on certains mods i don't like like when i find some rune put it at akara to sell the rune on mpq, but a high price to don't abuse of them(ofc for my self use), and have much mods i can't do it, coz i change things on data etc but absolutly nothing change in game

thanks btw i'm a noob in code and modmaking, i only know -direct -txt make me can change things on data files, so the basics ! XD
