Can displayed level in char select screen go over 232?

Post by flyspray091 » Wed May 20, 2020 8:37 am

I made a level 1000 mod and everything is fine aside from the level displayed on character select screen, which doesn't seem to go past 232. Is there any way to change this? I tried searching but couldn't find anything. Everything displays properly in-game, it's just character select.

It requires code edits to accomplish; IIRC Myhrginoc spoke about how to do this in 1.09 for Zy-El; you'd need to port that to whatever version you are working with.

I was afraid it was a code editing thing. I can follow very basic hex editing instructions, but that sounds quite beyond me, lol. I was hoping it might be simpler. Thanks for the reply though.
