maximum Extra Gold From Monsters?

I would like to modify the gold% property of some items. So, I would like to know if there is a cap for that property.

can make excess gold % more than limits in the game by editing itemstatcost.txt column save bit.
check kb/viewarticle?a=448

warning: it can change load bit length of save file, so pre-exist saved characters can not be loaded.
(or roll back makes it loadable)

i cannot assure there is no limit for max gold%, probably check the program code in other post to find real limitation of the value.
