D2 Dev's were coding functionality of the guilds
Been spending a lot of time examining dll files and came across a developer note for guilds suggesting some funtionality is coded. "Why are we handling a guild function when there are no guilds"... speaks for itself

The guild stuff has been well documented over the years, 1.07 contains almost all the guild code in D2Common, Myhrginoc documented all the guild objects and UI, and Paul Siramy & others documented the guild tilesets + maps and pvp maps; there are also still a ton of string refs in the tbl files, as well a space for the 3 character guild tags in many places (including chat messages).

No, because a guild stuff only really matters when you have Battle.Net supporting it, and no one bothered with that side of it (apart from the fact that BNet related stuff is against our ToS).theoutlaw wrote: ↑Sat Dec 14, 2019 2:10 amAnd with all this doc , did anyone ver tried to integrate the guild codes in any way ?Necrolis wrote: ↑Sat Dec 14, 2019 1:42 amThe guild stuff has been well documented over the years, 1.07 contains almost all the guild code in D2Common, Myhrginoc documented all the guild objects and UI, and Paul Siramy & others documented the guild tilesets + maps and pvp maps; there are also still a ton of string refs in the tbl files, as well a space for the 3 character guild tags in many places (including chat messages).

It would be cool if someone was able to make waypoints back and fourth to the maps at least. maybe even just make them red portal codes
