Yes, the others screenshots are old but if you go to the Featrues sections and to the Characetrs classes pages you could browse the new char animations by clicking on the small portraits of each class.

I've seen only static gif. :!:

Did i miss something. :?:

It's cool to have the site finished. :)
The 18 class are more clear now that they are presented in an organised manner.

I mean, in each class page you got a static but uptodate preview of their new appaerance.
Still got to make the skill trees pages, update the screenshots and put some infos on first acts.

All character animations are drawn from Planescape Torment.

will the characters have different looks based on the armor they're using like in regular d2 or will they allways look like that?

heard something about being able to do multiple armor types with some of the infinity ingine animations but not sure if it's that one.

It is a game from the same company that made the Baldur's Gate saga. Planescape: Torment uses the same game engine as Baldur's Gate by the way (Infinity Engine). They're all very good computer 'RPG' games.

I wouldn't mind the 10 meg extra download, but it'd probably be alot of effort to get it working, would be cool though

10 Mb won't make a difference. 100 Mb would. :)

Joel is probably trying to make the size as small as possible... after all, with dozens of new monsters + characters + area tilesets for 15 acts + music and sounds... the mod will be HUGE allright

hmmm let me see :

current char anim : 8 Mb
music : 75 Mb
tiles/ds1 : 25 Mb
txt : 3 Mb << tsss lazy boy
monsters : not a dozen but almost a dozen of dozen ... 50 Mb

well for now, for three acts (yes THREEE), it's a 161 Mb file folder ....

That's not for the addititonal 16mb the new armor version will take but I don't have the PHYSICAL TIME to make them :P

I wish I was more quick on this one. My secret dream is to make a D1 mod with all the char anim from D1 ... but well it'll either eat the munches of Zoulom an dmany other so ...

So no armor look variation nor weapon changes gfx for now :D

We could teamup on a d1 mod in the future (this is my secret dream to) ;)

Well, its understandable that the time is limited. It will be nice anyway.

Hmmm I'm maybe wrong .... but in any case, I assume your
still sing empty dcc to complete the HD,RA etcc layers ? Hmmm ?

use ONE LAYER only animation (using TR component) it'll save you 2ko per Cof and 120 to 300Kb per invisible DCC. So multiplied by 7 char ...

NO, no weapon and no armor changes are visible on the animations.
It was first a bit annoying but you can get used to it.
I doesn't have nor want the need to make such changes, as it will mean I have to find NEW 6 differents animations, convert them and retest them ALL ...
