The only problem I am having with the mod so far is the sheer size of the first town. For only having 2 NPC's and stash, and those are placed as far from each other as possible, it is just way too large an area and takes up alot of time running from one to the next....I think I have stopped at my stash 3 times with my main character.

Well, it's not really town... it's just island. At first char spawn greatly far than now! be glad for it.
and I too have 2 70mb logs...
sometimes (rare) game crashes when i gamble, and sometimes when load a char.

Ok... Can I dont want to sound like a newb.. but.. cant someone help me out here?! I cant get anywhere.. my char keeps dieing.. I either need a tcp/ip game or wondering if someone can send me a char that can do stuff...

Also, how do you get more skills?!

New skill points are available from wise sorc as quest reward.

I'm so lost right now DX! I'm confused in Runaway from Island. I killed the 2 unique monsters, went in both portals, did everything needed to be done. I don't know what to do now DX

justin3009 you must go in Firewish home for quest, then in Lost Crypt.
I hope that on next week I'll realized 1.2 patch. :)

Ok, I need help installing. I can never get a mod running that uses the vbs scripts. I have a clean folder with d2:lod 1.10 and I just cant get the mod to run everytime I try to start it. I either get an error saying I need to install diablo or when I recover from crash, it says all the dlls are missing.

Ugh. Im so used to just copying over the mpq, or using direct txt :roll:

Ok... So, I see that you get skills from quest... BUT... I cant do a quest.. Everytime I somewhere new, and the quest log updates, I get the message "Can not complete quest in the game." OR the room will be completely empty... like the PW was completely empty 3 times in a for for me..

Already did that ^-^ I got one about the sea king though. I'm gonna try to do that.

Btw, i'm not sure if this is bugged or not. But I baught a eagle orb that has 107 fhr +2 warmth and +6 life O__O

Some feutures in patch 1.2 :
Character start with 3 special items: Spell Book, Crystal of Absorption and Magic of Cleaners.
Added new skills for everyone character.
New maps and uniques in a1.
More features later.

I'm just trying to get this mod to work but any time I wanted to get a character to work the game kicks me out.
How did you install it ?? I tried different ways but it always ends up the same, being kicked out.
So, could you give me a hint, step by step, how to get this mod to run??

How to Install
1. Unzip TPW folder in your Diablo II folder.
2. Run Luanch_TPW.vbs
3. To recover from crash run RFC.vbs

How to install Version 1.1
1. Dell PlugY folder, also all dll and ini files in TPW folder.
2. Unzip tpw_1.1 archive in TPW folder.
3. Replace all files.
4. Run Launch_TPW.vbs

I just played a Necromancer to level 8 and I have a few questions.

Is it intentional that I did not get a single drop from monsters? Everything I found came from chests.
Then I went into one of the subdungeons of the graveyeard, I can't remember the name. I killed a special boss, something with air in it's name. It was physical, lightning and poison immune and it dropped three special scroll for Waypoints or so and when I picked them up the game crashed and said something about deviding by zero.

I have played until i meet the crypt guard and fire giant thing....
and so far it looks really nice....like omg!!
just a cuople of questions

1: is it possible to repair stuff in this mod?
2: is a character made in 1.0 compatible with 1.1?

i suggest that you remove the npc speech, because they are telling you something different than what i read in the log

really looking forward to see the development of this mod

It's a bug, you must download version 1.1
1: is it possible to repair stuff in this mod?
2: is a character made in 1.0 compatible with 1.1?
1. Yes, in Firewish Home
2. Yes, a character made in 1.0 compatible with 1.1, but not compatible with 1.2 version, because in version 1.2 more features.

Thx for the quick reply....i have updated to version 1.1

now i have completed what i think is possible
i crash everytime i go further into the crypt.
i have only completed quest 1,2 and 4 can i go further?

also is it on purpose that the monsters in crypt and firewish home can kill me in about 1-2 hits?

the gems now display between 1 and 2 to the skills but they change real fast i think its something about how the gem is saved in the txt file that causes it.

It's still lokking really nice and all the stuff is new....

Items in gems.txt use an older stat storage mechanism. That means on any propery min = max or you get the "slot machine" effect.

I replaced Lost Crypt map with new one because of bug old map had. You can see
screenshot here :)
