Bug in 3.20d?

Post by Eisead » Tue Jan 28, 2003 2:24 am

I was playing verions 3.20d and I made my very first throwing barb ever. I came up on an error and I'm sure if its a d2 error or seasons Error.

Anyway, Left hand throw does no damage at all. None. But double throw does damage.

I believe this may be a Blizzard bug as I did have problems back when the Barbarian started out with his throwing axes in the left hand. They too delt no damage (so that's why they spawn in the right hand now :))

However I can't be 100% sure on this one :(

hmm I've tested it and I don't seem to encounter this. Perhaps its because I'm using throwing knives?

Hmm, better test with throwing axes and see if you have them work too.
Perhaps this is one of those Shift-click bugs? Like when you use shift+left click for a skill, it does not cause damage?

From what I could see from a bit of quick testing is that Left Hand Throw does deal damage - if you have two throwing weapons equipped (I didn't check to see which stack was used - and I do recall a Blizzard bug related to that where three would be used instead of one, or something to that effect).

However, I was able to get Left Hand Throw to deal no damage if I held a melee only weapon in the other hand.
