Taking the above example your target field would look like this: "C:\games\Diablo2\Diablo II.exe" -direct -txt
I don't understand what is -direct? what is -txt?

In the future, please dont double post, give people time to read your post and formulate a response.
-direct and -txt mean that the game will read directly from the data folder and use the txt files contained within, before looking to the mpq for anything that it needs.
if you right click on your shortcut to D2 and click on properties, you would put the -direct -txt after the file directory in the target field.

what am ı doing? for middle earth mod ı am click click properties target is "C:\Program Files\Diablo II\Diablo II.exe" .what are you doing then?
Re: I cân't
First of all, create a shortcut about Diablo II.exe and rename it F.E. "Middle-Earth mod".
Then, select "properties" with right mouse click on the shortcut, you should see:
"X:\X\Diablo II.exe"
(X = letter of the drive and other X = directory of the Diablo II folder)
Now, add -direct -txt past the 2nd "- marks.
In final, you should have a shortcut (I use mine as example) like:
"D:\Diablo II\Diablo II.exe" -direct -txt
Only thing to do now is to use the shortcut to play the mod.
