*** The Middle Earth Mod is for Diablo II v1.10! ***
People who have played Battle.net in the last couple of years are playing v1.11+ of the game. But there are ways to have your cake and eat it too. This tutorial covers what you need to do to set up any number of different game versions, so you don't have to decide which version you might be stuck with.


Up until now, PlanetDiablo has been hosting the Middle Earth website set up by Varaya and Khan. So we at the Keep didn't host the files ourselves because both sets would be on FilePlanet. But IGN GameSpy is reorganizing their server setup and the website may soon disappear. As we have not heard from Khan for some time, we have made the files available at our File Center.

Also, I have compiled an mpq version of the mod so Mac players can try it out themselves.
