Alrighty, so..diablo walks the earth but he's extremely weak and he doesn't drop anything. And by anything i mean not a thing..not even a crummy wep or armor.

is there something wrong with my install or..?

he certainly deals damage however. those meteors really hurt.

anyone else have the same experience?

well you have to change some data for the clone. normally he would drop the annihilus but this item doesnt exist in this mod. so assign him a dropclass of your choice, say Baal (H). you probably want to change the monster level too and beef up his lifepoints so he is a challenge and no item-generator.
do not assign him level 99 or he may drop some of the LoD items with requirements level 99.

i'm sorry but that is beyond my current knowledge or desire to learn. thanks ofr the explanation though, titan. i'm a player, not a modder so much. peace.

i assure you it is not that difficult as this mod comes with .txts ... all you would need is d2excel and say 5 minutes time.

Five minutes if you know where to look...

Open monstats.txt with a spreadsheet editor (D2Excel or AFJ Sheet Editor available in our File Center, MS Excel works but remember to keep the file in tab delimited text format). Scroll down until you get to diablo at hcIdx 243. Scroll right until you see the twelve treasure class fields. (Locking the header row and left column, or using freeze pane in cell B2 in MS Excel makes this easy.) Copy the eleven that have "diablo" in various forms or interspersing blanks. Now scroll down until you see diabloclone (hcIdx = 333) and paste that data to the same fields. Save and exit (remember file format!). You have just made diabloclone's drop the same as his brother.

Well, i modified the clone data to drop. thanks again you two.

so, being a player that likes to craft things, i find this mod a tad dry in that respect. i'm known to make a runeword if i find a good base item, just to have and to make it.

Is there any way to say, enable vanilla runewords in this mod?

EDIT: uh..after some experimenting i have answered my own question to an extent. i see that ancient's pledge is still active, but that all the others have been replaced with the "Ar - *runename*" combo.

EDIT PT 2: But, again- is there anyway to enable the other runewords? I'm not bright enough to determine how based on looking at the runes txt file.
