item visibility issue

ok i posted this in mod making..but it got moved to chatter...so! since i am running the ancients mod..v 1.09, this "may" be an issue with it, although i've run it for a long time without this particular issue ever showing up. basically, whenever i hold alt to see all the items on the ground, they appear, however they often subsequently disappear when i either move towards them, get attacked, whatever. it seems to be random, but very very frequent. sometimes i can go around and pick up everythign no problem. sometimes i can't seem to be able to pick up anything without repeatedly tapping the alt button...or any button i switch it to. i can still pick things up manually of course, but thats not as convenient..especially wiht lots of drops. any help? any ideas?
