Diablo 1 Belzebub portraits

Hi i made some custom portraits for the mod Belzebub and need help trying to figure out how to edit them in. I have tried to use MPQ EDit and replace the .pcx file but am new to diablo modding and dont know what i am doing. if someone knows how to edit mods for diablo i could use a helping hand. thanks
