Problem running rune mod

I've installed all the files and patches and got the latest launcher.

When i come to run the mod i get to the character select screen and can make new characters. When i try and run the game however i get to the loading screen and then it flicks back to the rune mod start screen again.

I've been after trying this mod for ages and this is just one of a string of problems i've had with it. I'm hoping someone will be able to help me solve this one and i can finally play the mod.

are you sure you're running version 1.09 of lord of destruction??

I think that's the problem actually.

When i come to run the game it claims it's 1.09 although i've got 1.10 installed. I wasn't sure if you're files were the 1.09 ones or not.

I'll try things when i have time as this has happened on another mod i've tried recently.

Currently i'm too busy starting to mod aswell so i'm not too bothered until you get the new version out for 1.10 and there won't be a problem.

where can i find the files to downgrade to 1.09?

i have the same problem as u5ndh

Here is a zip file that contains all the neccesary files to downgrade from 1.10 to 1.09. You're going to have to try it out for yourself though.

Here's the site where I found it.

DON'T FORGET TO BACKUP YOUR ORIGINAL FILES

Hmmm... that's a very strange problem... I would expect it to crash before it gets that far... I'm not sure exactly what to tell you. If it were a DLL/EXE problem then it would be crashing. You should be able to play with v1.10 installed because it swaps the necessary files. It seems to work alright on mine anyway. I'll try to look into it but I've started working really hard on the most recent version so I don't know when I'll get the chance.

Sir_General- I sent you an email regarding the new mod.

When I sent it I didn't know of this post, so I apologize for that.

I, too, am eagerly looking forward to the newest Rune Mod!
