Well, I think sumthins wrong with the file on the website, casue when i dl it, it won't unzip, it says
"The Compressed(zipped) Folder is invalid or corrupt"

plz help me with wat 2 do..

well crap, i dled the file from Sylver's mirror (which took a while to find) but when i try to run it, it says

"Locating Diablo II directory...
ERROR: Failed to open Diablo II registry key!
Press any key to exit."

i dunno wats wrong now...

Well, that's a registry error. It may have come from a different method of installing Diablo II (IE: not from the CD's). I remember I had to tweak all the VBS scripts on my friends comp since he installed a different OS and lost his registry. (BTW, Diablo II runs fine without registry entries)

But Sir_General's launcher is an exe...

hmm, im not sure how it was installed, since it wasnt my comp first, but even if it is, is tehre a way to fix it?

o, and if i have to install again, its fine, cause i have the cds.

If you're using the updated launcher (and you really should), then there is a text box that will allow you to manually enter your Diablo II path if it's not found in the registry (or if you want to use a different one). The link from the download is:

Now when i start it, it says..

"This application has failed to start becasue d2gfx.dll was not found. Re-installing the application may fix this problem."

You're quite the lucky one, aren't you?

Anyway, see if your rune mod folder has a D2GFX.dll in it.
