The Knowledge Base tutorials and guides are mostly solid. However, several have become outdated or simply incorrect as mod makers discover new info on how a TXT column works, or find better ways to implement a skill. The best solution would be to put the KB articles on a wiki, but as it were we had to make do with adding comments on guides to correct them.
Now we don't even have comments in the KB. If a guide contains wrong or obscure info ("idk how this column works"), how is one supposed to correct it? Other mod makers will read the guide and stumble on the same issues over and over before discovering a solution themselves, or looking up for one in the forums.
TLDR; Can we please have a Knowledge Base wiki as a long term goal; and in the meantime, give us commenting back, please? Comments were a rather ineffecient means of amending old articles, but that was all we had--and now we have none.

Re: Please reenable commenting on Knowledge Base articles
If you find an issue with a KB article, make a post here in feedback or general mod making, and one of the mods will correct it. The senior mods have recently been on a campaign to fix all the bad formatting and get the guides slowly update. We don't want to enabled comments on KB articles because it means another section for the spam bots to attack and us to keep clean.

I understand. I'll try to compile a list of possible amendments when there's time.Necrolis wrote: ↑Sun Dec 16, 2018 7:40 pmIf you find an issue with a KB article, make a post here in feedback or general mod making, and one of the mods will correct it.
