Lvlups and mercs

Here comes again:

MERCS DON'T LEVEL AS FAST AS THEY SHOULD IN R9!!!

And BTW, new levelup system is insane! Not that i don't like it...

yes but don't they have upped skills and stuff? a lvl 4 ranger merc with 125 dex? think about it

Well even though a lvl 4 rogue does have 125 dex, she cant use a lot of the items you find for her because of the lvl reqs. Also dont the mercs skills as in the case of an act 3 mercs spells and an act 2 merc auras increase as the lvl goes up thus making them less effective thanks to the low level your merc is going to be. Its kinda crazy when your lvl 83 or higher and your merc(if its a rogue) is stuck at lvl 7.

I'll see if I can boost it a bit more, shall I? The code that effects experience gain for mercs is slightly puzzling to me...

New one: the act 3 lightning mercs don't seem to do anything. Sometimes they will go hand 2 hand combat and die
