PHP Script - SpreadSheet - Hour Tracker

Hello,

Not sure if anybody on the Keep is familiar with PHP/MySQL but hey doesn't hurt to post!

I am thinking of creating something really small and simple basically to keep track of how when I am due at work and how long for etc etc, this will then calculate my total hours for the week. Will look something like below!

Basically my question is does anybody know of an existing script like this or similar to this? And does anybody have any suggestions?

Only reason I'm doing this is because my new job I basically have a list of hours scrawled down on a ripped up bit of paper lol and it's not very organised!

First of all, PHP isn't the best choice for this type of program.

Second, I'm sure you'll find plenty of similar programs with many additional extras if you try Google

try this: www.google.com/calendar or use your cellphone to set alarms, that way its more portable

Yeah well my mobile sucks it makes the nokia 3310s look good, and I wasn't keen on the setup of google/calander and I search around found a few but non how I want it to be I think I'm just gonna go with it.

Edit : Yo Onyx what program do you suggest? I suppose it doesn't have to be built online, and I guess I could learn a new language

I don't know any programs that do that by name, but I'm sure you can find plenty of them.

As for language, anything that you can use to create an executable program - C and relatives, Basic and relatives, Java... You can even use Flash

Hmm, true that, I would love to give C a go, I mean I used VB before and well it's not very good. I pretty much know AutoIt inside out aswell, but yeah, C sounds good.

Know of any starting points to read up on?
