I'm trying to recive files from people audio/visual/exectuable...windows instantly deletes ALL and ANY file i recive through live messenger...i disabled all windows secruity settings, and it still deleted everything. And gives me the retarded "to protect your computer windows has {filtered} up and delete this file blah blah"
How do i fix this? [WinXP]

Happened to me once when I tried to open the file directly from the link in the MSN chat window (the one with the path to the file).
Just don't click that damned link. Go directly to the folder where you receive the files and open it from there.
I was using MSN Messenger 7 I believe and Win XP. If you are on Vista ... I have no idea.
