Meaning of titles : serf paladin warrior

I dont know if this question can be a topic but lets ask it :

What is the title just below the login name ? How many titles are there ?

serf ; warrior ; paladin ;....

Moderator is easy to understand but a few moderators have 4 shield and others as Laz only one ! Why ?

I assume that it has a link with the number of post (but dont know the precise link between posts and title).

I am sure that this must be explained somewhere but I didnt find it (phrozen keep web site is so wide !).

I think serf is 1-5 posts
warior 5-50?
crusade 50-100
paladin 100-250?
champion of light 250-500?
angel 500-infinity???
It just tells how many posts someone has (important if you want to know how trusted a player is, usually someone with many posts won't be a cheater).

1k is arch angel 2k is pricipality 3k is virtue 4k is power 6k is dominion 8k is throne 10k is cherub(surely it should be cherubim? as we are following the hirachy of angels) 12k would be sepharim(this is a educated guess as no one has 12k posts). don't really worry about these but rather the rules(ToS) and what you are posting(don't spam!) and enjoy the forums

It probably should be cherub and then seraph because those are the singular versions, cherubim and seraphim are plural.

well the place where i got my info from(a book) indicates them as singular and not plural as do some sites....not that important anyway

Different number of shields/swords depends on the Moderator's/Admin's rank - Hosted moderator, Forum moderator, Senior Moderator, Senior Admin etc.

There are several ranks beyond 10000 but no one is ever going to know what they are unless Myhrginoc gets there

I think this is a good topic to note that its not the post count thats important, but what was written.

And not surprisingly the admins have the highest ranks as they teach, share and reply with knowledge in all the phorums. For which here goes a "Thank you". Those ranks are deserved

heh missed out a few....but i agree that those who have those high ranks and/or badges have earned them either helping others and/or making truly unforgettable mods THANKS GUYS! (but i will say that i miss the custom titles from the old ot forum, suppose all things die to be reborn)
