I'm sorry, but seems like TCP/IP games are very unstable or even unplayable in last versions of mod. I hope it'll be fixed in next mod version, though at the moment I even don't know what may cause this. :) Sorry again.

i get the same problem as well, and i am curious, did tcp work with the earlier versions. And if s, what bugs will i get if i go back to that earlier version.(What bugs wont be fixed it=s the true question)

Yes, mod didn't have this bug in old versions and I didn't noticed when this occured, because mod just didn't had any multiplayer community. I hope that I'll fix this in 1.36.

Off topic: 1) BTW, when is 1.36 comming out.
2) Could you fix the ingame "monsters" like: dark sorceress, dark druid, etc. Firstly they are too imbalanced (too hard) imo, and they don't have almost any drop. As a mather of fact drops are very bad in all the act V. Is this really the way you intended it to be? Btw I have +30% find magic items and about 130 (or more I don't remember)luck.

If you are interested in using tcp/ip you can roll back to .34 and it works just fine. The main difference between versions is that uniques are reworked, but that's ok..many uniques in previous versions are just as good as current ones, just in different ways.

anyway that's what sonath and me did. hopefully the bug is findable/fixable as I would like to MP with 1.36 based on what i know of it and there seem to be more people coming around interested in MP; guess that award got the mod some attention.

that is correct.

and yes, i'd be down for some MP some time. I should be able to host games soon (1-2 days) as my isp is bridging my modem to my router. let me know what level you are playing at so i can bring a comparable character.

Sonath is into MP too when he has the time.

peace.

gravity do you mean they're changing your modem from connecting using pppoe to dhcp because if thats what they're doing it should only take like a minute

i thought you might find that useful. narrows it down a little.
...they're changing your modem from connecting using pppoe to dhcp because...
nope, that's not what i mean. they can make it so that the modem forwards all information and management to my router, which then forwards the appropriate ports/data to the game host. if your pc is the only one and hooks directly to your dsl modem, this isnt an issue (assuming you've done your port forwarding) but if you are farming out your web connection to multiple pc's on a LAN, it is and i'm not informed enough to do the mapping procedures...well also, when i had a different isp i don't recall this being a problem so maybe that's something too. anyway..
