Yup. Really not worth it to figure out the Gem Creche recipe.

The ONLY reason I have it is because I hate for anything in the game to be completely useless. So this is the use for debris generated by failed cube recipes. But rare is the person who wants to cart around a bunch of debris long enough to figure out the recipe.

They drop often enough and/or can be purchased relatively easily. :)

Creches start dropping in act4 normal.

But you only need to know one creche recipe. Creche + Brain = Oracle Glyph which gives +mf based on level in rings and shields. In other words, it 0wnz j00. My druid has 900% MF just from my shield and rings.

here are some usefull.. i think :mrgreen:
Khalims heart + cyan fire blossom (a gem) = charm of icy power
i dont know what it is, i havent tested it =D
K. Brain + Perfect Vile earth = amulet
havent tested anyone of these yet but that dosnt matter?? =D
Pharao scarab + K.eye = Ring of storm
K.brain + K. heart + gem C. =star skull

About those receptacles...that one scroll..."Don't combine me with a perfect gem in the cube"...do it...it turns into something like "Ok, just don't combine me with a Cham"...do that..."At least don't fuse me with a Zod"...do that and it's something like "Just don't put me in there with a soul"...add captured soul...and you get a scroll that tells you the 2 receptacles.

Since this is a spoiler thread, I might as well tell you what they are...but I enjoyed finding them on my own...they are...

Gem Creche and Ancient Engraved Bowl

Oh, and about corpse explosion being a bad thing sometimes...say you're a necro, and you're trying to raise skeletons... you don't want to blow up a corpse you can use to help yourself, especially if there's only one monster around to feel the blast of it. Or if you're a barb, using find item, find potion, or grim ward. Same for any class that has a use for corpses. Don't get me wrong though, I have level 32 Corpse explosion on the necro I'm using...it's how I get through the game, and it works great...it has its place though, and sometimes shouldn't be used. Just my 2 cents.

Hmmm...never actually tested it personally, I don't think. Also never heard of any problems (and I have several items with corpse explosion or poison explosion as chance-cast skills). I could have sworn the skill was set up to target the nearest available target, which should be a corpse, not a living attacker.

If anyone has had problems with this skill on items as a get hit, hit or attack skill, let me know.

Yea, I've been in the habit of writing down all the clues I find into a text file. Gotten most of the ones from the forum, and probaly twice as many that aren't but I'm to lazy to post them. Like the fire blossom recipe. 4 perfect gems of the same type + gem creche = Fire blossom. I think thats it. Screen shots are great for it. Btw does anyone know the recipe early you get early on in act 1 that uses 2 shaman flags? I forgot what it is and it's buggin me now!

There is a recipe to make a charm with a courier bag,a jewel and a number of ingots.
I can't figure it out,as far as i know there are only 3 diff ones
dark gold,red gold and bright gold.
Or are there more??

Anyone know the recipe for the bone shields + lich bones + souls + skulls and/or gems?

I've found the clue scroll for it, but I lack the money and time to test it out :(

bone shield + three skuls + 3 lich bones + soul makes a shield with charges of naga strike, I think.

add a perfect gem and you get a shield with the Sanctuary aura instead

I'm told there are recipes to make bone shield and it's elite and exceptional versions into shields with Revive of varying levels of power. But I haven't been able to weasel those three recipe out of jbouley. ;)

For our lovely assassins out there:
2 claws + 2 breast plates + 2 runes + jewel + 2 gems gies you magic claw armor

To get an ogre jaw blade:
6 teeth + 1 jaw + a blade

3 eyes + soul and a gem will give you an amulet with charges of inner site

2 bows = 1 composition bow

two water jugs make mana water

To get an astral razor:
Add a perfect gem to a crystal sword

Yea, I just tested it. 1 dark gold seal + 1 dark gold ingot = dark gold treasury coins.

well here's the rest of K.organ repice :)

Heart + Eye + Gem.C and a perf. gem (i think its like this) = elder whyrd
eye + brain + gem.c + perf.gem =talon charm
all 3 organs + Gem.c + perf gem or to make it more powerfull ( it is sayd this was said/written take an orb one of each tiki talisman and combine in the cube

well thats what i..this it is.. i havent tested any of these yet heh happy testing :mrgreen:
