Just a quick poll on the need for monsters hit points to beefed up a tad. I like a challenge in the mod and players 8 does this for me, but I think it could be raised a little more. This excludes monsters like Brother Bouley, Izuul and the end of act high powers.

I think we already have enough control over monster hp/exp levels with the /players command, an easier change might just be to somehow extend the players command past 8, to maybe 16? i'm sure that would give you all the challenges you could ever require ;)

Increasing all monster stats by 10-20% should be enough. I know it doesn't sound like much but it does make a large difference when facing mobs.

Those kind of increases aren't particularly hard to do obviously but as Stumpeh mentioned do we really need it with the /players command available?

Depends,as some ,like myself love a tough ,nasty mod heh heh.But again as I have stated before,I like the mod as it is.Nice fancy,full of new look,and well overall a nice play.So I'd leave it as it is but it's up to you bud.

Onyx is actually a rhino beetle variant ;) Well that and a unique item in our "in progress" folder :D

One thing i like so much about this mod, is that the monsters are bassically the same stats as the originals , if not the same (i think you've mentioned that a couple of times phrozen?) sometimes i like /players 8, especially through "normal" , but boosting everything , and not making it an option, ruins some of the fast paced fun of diablo, which is cutting through monster and monster feeling really powerfull, thats pretty impossible with 450% more life that /players 8 brings! (talking mid to late nightmare here)

Errr..kind of. All monsters are certainly based on existing ones but as the patches have gone on I've tweaked resistances, health, skills, movement etc although I've tried to compensate for every addition with a reduction so keep it around vanilla balancing.
