Please remember the purpose of this release is to present a platform for modders and players to see a good chunk of the animations from Infinitum in action so don't expect a Dark Alliance or Shadow Empires but in my personal opinion it makes a very nice showcase with a few extra novelties thrown in to mix things up a bit from the vanilla game.

CHARACTER STATS
- No mana increase on level up but mana per energy has been doubled
- Character base movement speed increased somewhat

CUBE/INVENTORY
- Added Tweaks's Packrat inventory plugin
- New healing/mana potion related horadric cube upgrade recipes
- New alchemical reagents for cube recipes

DIFFICULTY SETTINGS
- Removed experience loss penalty on death in nightmare and hell difficulties
- Added a small resistance penalty to normal difficulty and slightly increased the one in nightmare
- Altered ratio of regular/exceptional/elite item drops in all three difficulties

HIRELINGS
- All hirelings have been replaced with new animations

- Hireling skills moderately tweaked

ITEMS
- 30 (10 normal, 10 exceptional, 10 elite) new enchanted shields (non-class specific)
- Paladin shields can now spawn with random paladin skills bonuses
- Implemented 6 new varieties of enchanted "shields" each with variants and random properties
- Replaced existing belts and gloves and added bracers (some new names and inventory graphics)
- 60 new class-specific items (20 normal, 20 exceptional, 20 elite)
- 15 new types of gemstone in addition to the original six
- All gems and skulls are now available in a sixth grade known as "Divine"
- New set of 33 rune graphics (same names and properties for now)
- New set of 6 ring graphics (from D1 & HF)
- New permanent and temporary effect potions drop through the game
- Basic javelins stack size doubled
- Added 42 new weapons (14 normal, 14 exceptional, 14 elite)
- All scythes can spawn with necro skills

MAGIC AFFIXES
- Vanilla magic affixes tweaked a little and over 100 new ones have been added


MAPS
- Added 3 new original maps by Pagan Rainfall
- Used Diabolic Cartography map plugins by Volf, Joel, Red Havoc, taLib, Lord Drekas and Onyx
- Seriously increased the size of "The Pit" and added two new exclusive monsters to it
- Renamed the majority of act 1 areas and replaced "Entering" DC6s
- Trippled the size of the Ancient Tunnels in act 2

MONSTERS
- Replaced only 1 of the act bosses (more possibly coming later)
- Replaced most special sub-bosses like the summoner with new appearances and/or abilities
- Almost all fixed uniques like Corpsefire are new creatures (not just pumped up base monsters)
- 60+ prefixes, 70+ suffixes & 40+ appelations for random unique monsters
- Replaced almost every base creature's appearance and name (and in some cases skills and/or sounds too)
- Increased/decreased some monster group sizes
- Skeleton variants now appear physically different and most have new names

SKILLS
- Replaced several of the Sorceress' skills
- Replaced several of the Necromancer's skills

UNIQUE ITEMS
- Vanilla unique items have been completely removed
- Over 250 new uniques have been added

VENDORS
- All NPCs (except Charsi) have been replaced with new animations
- Vendor buying caps have been increased but buying values have been halved
- Throwing weapons appear on the vendors' weapons pages
- Gheed sells unmarked potions as new (additional) and slightly more dangerous form of gambling
- Made a large number of the new "normal" grade items available for gambling

MISCELLANEOUS
- Implemented no light radius and torch system for underground runs (AFTER DoE quest is completed)
- Used one of Malachor's loading screens

KNOWN BUGS
- Character turns invisible until they first move when casting "Myrkul's Blessing"
- The second level of the Act 2 viper temple has wall transparency issues

- All 127 set items have been renamed and recolored with a more IE game feel.

MAPS
- Fixed snake temple level 2 transparency issues.

MONSTERS
- 16 New monster sound sets from various IE games.
- Basilisk and Lizardmen animations re-implemented as new tokens to look smoother.
- Salamanders and Frost Salamanders switched to correct locations.
- Redid bugbears' secondary attack animation to look better.

KNOWN BUGS
- Character turns invisible until they first move when casting "Myrkul's Blessing"
- Some enchanted shields don't have character animations

- 35 new crafting recipes.
- 15 new alchemical recipes.

INTERFACE
- New background image for credits page.

ITEMS
- 7 new IE-inspired sets added (eg. Dak'kons Path etc).
- 128 new magic affixes (eg. Barbazu's, Kindling etc).
- Lowered some light radius-related magic affixes.
- 161 new unique items (eg. Tiakoth's Sting, Abardom's Stigma etc).
- All existing runewords disabled pending new ones.
- New magic potion.
- Reduced magic potion drops a little.

MAPS
- Reverted act 5 town to original due to bugs.
- "Entering" text images for renamed areas resized to match originals.

MONSTERS
- Doubled number of minions for Dune Hammer the Wicked.
- Ettins are no longer classed as demons.
- Some cold/heat-based creatures now have more "realistic" resistances.
- Air elementals are no longer classed as undead.
- Relevant monsters now tagged by monster type (eg. Giants, Yuan-ti etc).

SKILLS
- Renamed Necromancer skill tree back to "Curses"

KNOWN BUGS
- Character turns invisible until they first move when casting "Myrkul's Blessing"
- Some enchanted shields don't have character animations

NEW FEATURES
- New Drow items that strengthen during nighttime and weaken during the day.
- Druid has three "new" summonings replacing the old ones.
- Body armors, shields and rings use BG2 inventory graphics to go with the theme.
- Added Volf's Monster Themed 800BorderFrame.dc6.
- Replaced "Maglubiyet's Blessing" shifting stone skill.
- Shifting stone skills now have different properties based on the deity.
- Reverted Arreat Summit back to original form (for now).
- Mist horrors no longer "bleed".
- Tristram has been replaced with a new map from PS:T created by Xenast.


BUG FIXES
- All enchanted shields show up as in-game animations.
- Flawless Sapphire no longer labelled as "Avenger Gloves".
- Act 5 trichas/raptors now use a different AI.
- Nihlathak shouldn't "blink" in act 5 town anymore.
- Amber/Citrine/Jasper levels match their properties again.
- Shamshir now has the correct 2x3 inventory squares.
- Re-populated some of the act 5 ice caverns.
- Character doesn't turn invisible at all when casting "Myrkul's Blessing".
- "Special" shield drops have been fixed.


[color=ff0036]KNOWN BUGS[/color]
- Harragoth still seems to have at least one unknown crashing bug.
- New Tristram still has the original water sounds and ripples on part of the map.

NEW FEATURES
- 30 new "triple upgrade" recipes for special shields.
- The Underdark is a little more interesting and challenging.
- 70 new unique items (eg. barbarian swords, assassin cloaks, circlets etc)


BUG FIXES
- Pindleskin is no longer invisible.
- Mindflayers are no longer classed as undead.
- Goblin worgriders now attack in melee correctly.
- Trichas no longer blink and have more "killer instinct".
- Fixed the "Drow Door" bug caused by the D1 token.
- Hopefully fixed some of the Paladin skill bugs.


IMPORTANT
- Please delete the folder data/global/monsters/D1/ and it's contents.


[color=ff0036]KNOWN BUGS[/color]
- Magic arrows sometimes drop too early for their level requirements.
- Minor glitch with Potion of Greed aura animation.
- "Rescue Cain" quest doesn't always trigger properly unless you start Kashya's quest.
- Paladin's "Holy Freeze" skill doesn't slow enemies correctly.

- New wandering monster type in act 1.
- New graphics for the mask and skull cap helms.
- New loading screen courtesy of Malachor.

- 10 new IE/AD&D-inspired sets.
- Morte now sells health/mana potions in Act 4.

- Drow equipment now drops correctly.

- Reworked jewellery tri-cubing recipes.
- Tagged class-specific "amulets" to clarify usage slot.
- Slightly reworked the nightmare/hell-grade gem drops.
- Morte now sells TP scrolls.
- Implemented Myhrginoc's "Books of Lore" clue/info system (100 random books)
- New map by I_only_pressed_Esc to replace act 5's "Abaddon" complete with two new monsters.
- Izual now has a little more back-up.
- New superunique in the Canyon of the Magi.
- Upgraded the majority of Gheed's unmarked potions to make them worth the risk.
- Renamed a handful of runes in preparation for future rune words.
- 2 new magic "shield" items (holy texts and mystic pipes).
- New necklace and familiar magic items.
- 40 assorted cube recipes.
- Switched the sound set for grilligs.


BUG FIXES
- Hopefully fixed the Somber Hills crash (you may need to respawn the maps)
- "St Elmo's Fire" no longer appears as spell book charges.
- Fixed the Jasper/Amber upgrade bug with gem shrines.
- Fixed armor reduction display bug with the Paladin's "Conviction" skill.
- (Hopefully) Fixed damage bug with the Paladin's "Vengeance" skill.
- Remaining Gronks have had their "demon" tags removed.

- Upgraded D2Mod Utility Kit to v1.02.01.
- New sound set for bugbears and similar creatures.
- 40 "new" magic item suffixes.
- 2 new special "shield" item groups (grails and urns).
- 9 new cube reagents for upgrading tempered items.
- Most familiars now spawn with fixed +5% mana bonus.
- 2 new elven impact arrows but all EIA stack sizes reduced to 150 but now have NM/Hell upgrades
- Replaced Umberhulk in Act 5 with Yeti.
- New Act 5 Hell level by Xenast with powerful new side boss.
- New Act 5 Hell level by Xenast with 3 new monsters.
- New Durance of Hate Level 3 by Xenast.
- The Underdark extended by Xenast with 1 new monster.


BUG FIXES
- All hirelings reverted to vanilla due to domino effect bugs (be sure to backup PG BEFORE patching as you MAY need to discard your's :()

- Rebalanced Demogorgon somewhat.

- 9 new throwing weapons (3 normal, 3 exceptional, 3 elite).
- Gem bag gambling can now produce Ioun Stones :twisted:.

BUG FIXES
- Fire and lightning ancient chromatic lenses now have correct enemy resist properties.
- All hirelings reverted back to vanilla skills due to flickering bug (sorry but please backup PH BEFORE patching in case of compatibility issues).

NEW FEATURES
- Slightly reworked the properties of Potions of Greed (+100% MF, +200% GF).
- Experimental rework of the Myconids (including AI and stats).
- Sorceress elemental swords now have a small enemy resistance pierce.
- Throwing stars have a small chance of causing open wounds.
- Throwing darts have a small chance of landing a deadly strike.
- Shields now have approx. +20% to their AC vs missile attacks.
- Custom character titles for each class (using Havvoric's D2Mod plugin).
- 240 new unique items (using variants of ones from TalonRage's Unique Plugin v2).
- Replaced the Summoner again and reworked his abilities/drops.
- Reworked some of the various drops in the Underdark.
- Mist horrors are now somewhat translucent.
- Frozen Servant unsummons rather than actually dying.
- Chromatic lenses have fixed inventory graphics per grade (instead of being random).
- All shadow-class creatures are now translucent and don't cast shadows :oops:.
- 20 new sets (based off ones used in Talonrages set plugin)
- Reworked the mana "potion" selection somewhat ;).
- Slightly narrowed the damage range for Winged Hammers.
- Slightly reworked the socketing properties for skulls.
- 10 new tempering reagents.
- Limited the maximum ilvl some magic affixes can spawn on.


BUG FIXES
- Redid assassin cloak inventory graphics due to later act speckling.
- Redid female drow get hit animation which had a white/light gray shadow.
- All 6 rings now spawn instead of just 5 of them :oops:

- Tweaked boni on all "classless" magic arrows.

NEW FEATURES
- Added (if applicable) tag to Needle & Thread reagent.
- Rune of Cannibalism increased to 4% life stolen.
- Countess Bohdi and The Fiend now both have 2 additional minions.
- Toughened up Baal a little (don't worry, nothing TOO serious).
- Level 2 of the Underdark - Occupants changed to Greater Gloom Beasts and a new skeleton variant.
- Level 3 of the Underdark - Monster density increased somewhat.
- Level 4 of the Underdark - Broken Tooth Orcs move a little faster and have a chance to cause open wounds.
- Tireless, Mnemonic, Lapis, Garnet, Coral, Godsman, Dragon's and Serpent's magic prefixes now available on belts.
- of the Leech, of the Yeti, of the Pheonix and of the Efreeti magic suffixes now available on belts.
- 42 New unique items (designed by Ulthrion).
- New life/mana globes (created by Volf).
- 3 New set items over 1 set (designed by cc).
- 6 New set items over 1 set (designed by theonlymoose).
- 83 New set items over 20 sets (designed by Vhaeghar).
- Increased base casting/attack speed for Chosen of Mystra shapeshift.
- 9 New Elven rune words (designed by cc).
- 8 New Gnomish rune words (designed by cc).


BUG FIXES
- New rune sets now tri-cube correctly.
- Corrected a typo with "Myani's Headscarf" set item.
- Prince Talisid's Rampage now has enhanced damage instead of defense.
- Corrected typo that disabled the color shift for the "Ki Fleece" unique armor.
- Corrected code so that thorns% works properly on items.
- Corrected string bugs with several normal unique armors and shields.
- Stonetrap unique bone belt crushing blow modifier corrected to 33%.
- Corrected Blessed Hammer display to show synergy from Vanquish.
- Corrected Duriel "Forgotten King" string issue.


[color=ff0036]KNOWN BUGS[/color]
- Minor glitch with Potion of Greed aura animation.
- "Rescue Cain" quest doesn't always trigger properly unless you start Kashya's quest.
- New Tristram town still has residual river sound/overlays.
- Occasionally a BoL will appear blank.
- Poison Nova damage displays wrong on the character sheet.
