Can't Play

Every time I load up Ancestral Recall or any mod and click on single player I get an Access Violation. Thats right I don't even get to the character select screen. If anybody could provide some info on a fix for this it would be appreciated.

Have you solved this? If not, see if you had the correct D2 patch version installed, you won't be able to play an 1.10 mod with patch 1.09 installed for instance.
