It's exactly why I haven't increased the inventory size in PlugY ;)
And I hope you never do! It would really unbalance things for me...

Shame I'm removing it from default install next version, it's a great tool.

Is that under 2.06? It's 20 meg instead of the small 7.

You'll want to use the shortcut, it's required. You might need to change the paths, but it's set up as default :)

Okay, what are the mushrooms for? I ate one and I lost a lot of health but luckily I got to town in time.
Here, think about this, why are there drive-up ATMs with brail on them?

mushrooms, cherries, apples, fish, chicken legs, and chickens, and I think grapes all have different effects when eaten. I think the mushrooms will bump you up to full health, then bring you back down again, at least, thats what I remember when I tried one out. We will have to wait a week for Guy to get back to answer for sure, but each of the food items do something special. I havent found out what each does yet, but most of them deal with health/mana.

For the most part, yes....later on it helps for the death tax....if you have bronze gold and platinum in your stash, you have instant cash that cannot be touched or taken from when you die.

Wow, I must say that is a Very clever idea. I must add that I was playing with my sorc earlier and there was no underground passage. There was a cave but when I went in it said Cave level 2 which was quite confusing. Please guide me in the right direction.

I actually think you have to go to the burial grounds. In there there is a cave called icey cave and in that there are both cave level 1 and an other cave called deep underground if you go though the deep undergroud you should get to the exit you want (dark wood or stony field dont remember). Hope thats where you wanted to go.

ok, you moved the 2 files over, did you run the d2modsetup.bat? after you run that, make sure that the icon in the tsc folder is pointing to the directory you have it in, then run. Make sure the TsC folder is in your D2 directory also....if all this is done, let me know, I will try and help ya out more! :)

this is my target line, you need the -mod flag at the end...

"D:\games\Diablo II\Diablo II.exe" -mod TsC

this is my start in

"D:\games\Diablo II\TSC"

you will know you got it right when your character starts with a shortsword, cube, and tp and id scroll

Hey Guy(s),

I seem to be checking out quite a few mods in development lately, and i must say TSC is looking really good so far. Obviously there are quite a few custom items in there, like body parts for example. My problem is that i can't seem to find what to do with them. Is there a list of cube recipes around anywhere perhaps? I've noticed the .txt files are not included in the mpq, so i can't find out that way.

Yeah the texts used to be available, but due to the Relic system they had to be hidden, since it was about discovery. Anyway a full list of cube recipes is in the readme, suprisingly, and congratulations on installation... you wouldn't believe how many people are not used to d2mod!

Even Malachai missed the recipes in the readme... I might post the list with some nice colours added on the forum.

body parts can be combined with tempered weapons. In the read me, there is a small list of cube recipies that you can find themost common of the new stuff that was added.

Hehe, well the recipe list is indeed well hidden in the readme :D
Even though i've played more than my fair share of mods, i'm afraid this is the first one that caused a small problem in the installation. It turned out that d2mod choked on my 1.9 dual-play d2gfx.dll. I had to replace it with the proper 1.10 file.
d2mod looks like a good way to manage mods though, if more modders start using it people will get used to it, don't worry.

edit: I checked out the info in the readme, and it's ofcourse very helpful. Only this is outdated with the mod being an mpq:

It's probably wise to refrence Runes.txt for the runeword you making to
double check the runes and see the stats, Runes.txt can be opened with
Excel.

PluginY allows this feature if I am not mistaken, and is fully compatable :)

Ahh I might have to extract that text, I forgot about it :S

Well you could just use my mpq like on a normal mod, but then you would lose ALOT of stuff.

My instructions suck... I know :(

Where is your D2 installed? The shortcut is usually the problem, I can tell you what to do there.

Well my diablo 2 is at G drive So it would be "G:\Diablo II\TsC\TsC.Exe"
That is currect isnt it?
and what should the 'Start' say?
I've put the D2mod.exe amd .dll in the Diablo II folder and ran them....made the
TsC Folder,put all the files except d2mod.dll and .exe in there.....made a shortcut.....ran it.....doesnt work.....comes up with a error
when i try to make a new char veeeeery weird...btw ive never tried d2mod before so thats prolly why i dont know how to use it :D
Anyway it looks really good so far :D....but to be able to read about it and to actually be able to play it is 2 totally different things
Anyway,
Cya's

Start in should be "G:\Diablo II\TSC"

That should be your problem fixed ^ ^

I might have to make a set of instructions on the forum with pictures, that might help. It seems people with different lettered drives have problems with install :)
