Crash in Goblin Den

Ok, first off, I'm loving the new stuff I 've seen sofar.
Now as far as my problem goes, when I enter the goblin den my pc freezes just as soon as I try to attack anything.I have tried it with an elf and a wizzard and it did the same on both chars.
Um, now I need to know if I can get my cube elsewhere or am I just s-o-l since I can't seem to get it down there anymore.

Edit: Ok, never mind about the cube ? I found the answer, although it will suck having to wait till act 2 to get it......

Exactly the same thing happens to me too. I get this unhandled exception error. I think its bull crap! Is it too much to ask just to have some fun? Well, there must be a way around this, all we can do is await answers.

OK I have just finished testing to find this bug, and I did get it too. Will be looking into what is causing it.
This is the error that I received:

yep, that's what we got. I've had that problem with a few different characters.

A little off topic, but where do I look to see exactly what the error is. That way if I come across another prob(crosses fingers hoping he doesn't) then I can help solve it faster.

Hmm...as per further testing...when I disabled PlugY, the crash did not occur. Will follow that thread of thought...

oldtimer..if you find another error like this, best is to post the error message itself. Sometimes more info can be found in the debug log that D2 generates.

Not totally sure, but I would guess you just remove the plugy.dll from the d2mod.ini. You may want to wait for Darque or Yohann to answer this though.

you are almost correct...remove plugy.dll from thoc.ini in the mod folder..or just put a ; in front of that line

UPDATE...I think I may have found a different reason that DoE quest doesn't work...in THoC.ini there is a line as such:

A1Q1Level = 92

Change it to

It was a test that I performed but I didn't reverse
I haven't tested to verify this as the reason for the crash...but will do so in about 3 hours =if no body else tests this first.

Woohoo, 1st post!!!

Changing A1Q1Level to 8 seems to work (at least it did for me).

Found another problem at end of act 1 - when I talk to Warriv and select Go East this comes up:
