Is your D2 Folder located as it has been at first install? (not a copied folder..)

no loader´s - clean d2 lod install - original patch 1.10 - all .dll´s original 1.10

I´ve made a complet new D2 LoD install with Patch 1.10.

After installing 7.14 i got this Message:

Assertion Failure
Location : D2CMP\SRC\CelCmp.cpp, line #1521
Expression : IpParent

I really don´t know what to do.

thats wondering a little bit, cause near 95% of all players use the german PC-version.
if a really clean install (deleting folder, regkey of blizzard/battle.net(d2 parts) does not help,...

also you can try to rename your d2 folder, make a new one with correct name...install...move content of that folder to youzr d2..delete temporarly fake folder..renmame original folder to its correct name..then you must have all files correctly
