Elemental auras and PvP penalties

Post by Freemason » Thu Jan 07, 2010 8:37 am

Hello, I didn't see any recent topics regarding my question, so here goes. I'm familiar with the damage order and how they are calculated, but I am curious if a PvP penalty applies to elemental damage auras (holy fire, shock, freeze) Testing in game leads me to believe there must be a penalty applied to these auras, but I would like to be positive on the issue, and I think this is the best place to ask.

The 84% reduction (the value on the summit is slightly off, damage is reduce to 16%) is universal, as it is applied in the routine that applies all types of damage and their various side effects(think of the pvp penalty as unpierceable and unbreakable resistance)
