Seems you are mixing up few things. All base item types (eg Colossus Blade, Short Sword) have a qlvl. This number is defined in weapons.txt and is the same for all Colossus Blades, be they white or blue or green or gold. You can obtain more affixes through cubemain.txt if that helps (mod params). I managed to make some hundred recipes to recycle weaker items to get stronger magicals/rares than those which can drop in game etc (say 20-40% to get potientially 7th affix, 10-20% to 8th, 1-5% for 9th etc) http://img268.i...

You can simulate 6 affixes by having only 6 groups in magicprefixes, suffixes.txt so in most of cases you will get 6 affixes.

Especially Dragon Claw is interesting.. they added skill description to add dmg% synergy from mastery, but forgot to apply in skills.txt.
